usersubmitter diggIt seems like everyone is out to game Digg nowadays. They have realized the power in garnering traffic from the popular top news story site, and are now on a mission to get on the front page as fast as they can. A site called UserSubmitter has appeared on the scene offering cash for Digg users to promote their stories. Users that vote for specified Digg sites get paid $0.50 for every three articles they digg, while story submitters get paid $20 per submission. How long will it be before Digg shuts down this voting chain? This totally reminds me of back in the day, when webmasters used to keyword the heck out of their sites' META tags with useless unrelated words, before search engines caught on and rewrote algorithms and ranked sites in other ways. It's only a matter of time before Digg gets its voting and submission algorithms reset and calibrated.
