Palm Europe rolls out Windows Mobile 6 upgrade for Treo 750
Sure, it's nice when hackers manage to squeeze a new operating system onto an old device. But sometimes things work better if you wait for the official upgrade. That's why we're happy and sad to tell you that Palm has issued a free Windows Mobile 6 upgrade for the Treo 750/750v -- in Europe.Earlier this month Palm announced Australian customers would get an upgrade. The European version is available to Vodafone customers in the UK, Ireland, and the Netherlands.
So far, there's been no word on a WM6 upgrade for AT&T customers in the US, although we assume it's just a matter of time. Of course, you know what they say about people who assume.
