How do you build a successful internet business?
Everyone in the industry asks that question when they come up with a "great idea". Where do you get the answer? From someone who has done it, obviously. It's still going to be a bumpy path filled with unknown obstacles, but John Audette might be able to help. John was the brains behind four successful internet companies including the Internet News Bureau. In this article, John looks back and analyzes what worked and what didn't work. Through his experience he has identified 16 things that have worked well, i.e. the Sweet 16. In it, he lists everything from maintaining integrity, niches, giving and taking, and building communities. It's a very interesting read if you are building a business, or thinking about it, or if you just want to hear what a successful entrepreneur has to say about his experience living the internet life.
