Unless you have a really great memory, or consider yourself a walking Windows Open Source Software directory, complete with URLs, you'll want to bookmark this site, The OSSwin project is a good listing of OSS software for Windows (list hosted by Sourceforge.net). Consider this contraband headquarters, a site dedicated to slowly taking over your PC with non-Microsoft software. Closed-source software is so early-90's. The OSSwin project reads like a menu of interesting and flavorful choices. It is by no means comprehensive, but you may a few downloads you haven't seen before. With Halloween fast approaching, it's a great time to get in some practice defending your territory against zombies. In Graveyard Shift, you take aim at zombies and other creepy-crawlies, blasting them into splatters of cartoony green guts. It's a casual first-person shooter, and it's very easy to get the hang of - use the mouse to aim, click to fire. Graveyard Shift has at least 15 levels, and it might even have some secret stages I haven't unlocked yet.
