Fleck was released on Friday at the TechCrunch party in NY. It's a pretty cool online service that lets users add notes to other web sites. There are tons of great uses for this collaborative annotation service. It could be used by designers, developers and their clients to simply ask for changes to certain areas on a website, or for anybody to place a comment on top of any web page to remark on content. The movable notes can also be edited and unique URLs can be sent out to friends to then view and edit. There are no downloads or installs required to use this service. Anyone can view it, but members are the only ones that can edit and create Fleck notes. Marshall Kirkpatrick has listed two other players in this area called TrailFire and Diigo. However, Trailfire requires a download, and Diigo doesn't look that great. If I would use anything to annotate on a website, I would definitely lean toward Fleck. Check out a Fleck sample I made for DLS.Posts with tag fleck
