EyesRelax is a better way to enforce computer breaks
We've covered other apps before that are designed to reduce the risk of repetitive stress injuries. EyesRelax offers a number of additional features that make it an excellent download. When it's break time, EyesRelax will display a balloon tip, blank screen, or image. It can also notify you of upcoming breaks via balloons or with a less-than-subtle message box.
All the necessary time settings - work, break, and notification period - are customizable.
If you're in the middle of something important that you can't tear yourself away from, a quick double-click on the system tray icon will disable EyesRelax breaks.
Multiple profiles are also supported. If you work at home, it's an excellent way to quickly change settings on systems that are used for both work and play.
One particularly nice feature is the Parent Mode, which allows you to password protect the configuration. Set it up, and EyesRelax becomes a handy way to make sure your kids don't spend too much time in front of the computer screen.
