While this site from LG is designed with a tongue-in-cheek purpose of helping parents translate the text messages their teenage kids are sending, it can also be a helfpul guide for common abbreviations found on internet chat rooms, forums and other web pages.

As for figuring out what your teenager kids are talking about, it's probably going to take a lot more than a web based translator to figure that out.
