Man accused of propositioning his own daughter on Facebook
A Pennsylvania man who hadn't seen his daughter in 10 years thought it would be a good idea to look her up on Facebook and get in touch. Apparently, that's not all he had in mind, because he allegedly propositioned her for sex via messages on the social network. He clearly hadn't been tuning in to To Catch a Predator, because he showed up to meet her at an agreed-upon location, where the Philadelphia police were waiting there for him. The details of the messages the man sent his daughter are even creepier. He reportedly called himself "Bad Daddy," and wrote that "not many other fathers and daughters are this brave, so not many of them are so lucky to experience all these pleasures." Even reading that in a news report gives me the creeps. If there's anything positive about what happened here, it's that a 13-year-old was brave enough to tell her mother and the police about a disturbing and inappropriate situation.
