Google adds tons of new designs to Chrome theme gallery

If you weren't totally enthused with the themes Google themselves produced for Chrome, I've got some good news for you.

Just added to the Chrome themes directory is a whole new tab featuring designs created by artists and designers - like Mark Ecko (pictured), Anita Kunz, and Todd Oldham. There are several really slick themes, and you're at least more likely to find one you like now due to the increased number of options.

Also featured are some favorites from iGoogle's options like Pocoyo and Super Monkey Ball.

Have a look at the new themes, and feel free to share your favorites in the comments!

Teapotters, a social network for 3d artists

teapotters 3d social networkIn a world full of social networks, can we possibly utilize another? Why yes! Especially if it is targeted to a unique niche, as Teapotters is. The recently launched under beta Teapotters is targeted at 3D artists and already has a loyal following. Users upload 3D files, and Teapotters converts the 3D to display it on the site for all users to view. The converted 3D files can then be published on to other social networks, or into websites or blogs.

Through Teapotters, artists have the ability to share their material as long as it's not used for commercial purposes. This is the first website I've come across that lets users share real time 3D elements. Teapotters is currently in private beta, users can register to (hopefully) get an invite. Check out the video tour here.

Sony Ericsson's music download service

sony ericsson music downloadsSony Ericsson is ramping up to launch its music download service. Details of the new service were released Tuesday, and spoke about allowing full music downloading of up-and-coming artists though its mobile phones, with mainstream artists being integrated at a later date. I would imagine that it could be possible to transfer these music downloads to your PC, so you could enjoy music outside of your mobile phone. The new service is called M-BUZZ, and Sony sees this as a giant step at increasing the units sold, and making the M-BUZZ world a strong differentiating feature. It seems like this could also be a move to step up to the competition of the iPod. There were no reports as to when the service will exactly be launched, only talk about late in the second half of 2006.

iTunes Publisher

iTunes Publisher

Sometimes we want to let the whole world know what we're up to. I mean everything. We have blogs, webcams, chat rooms, and tons of other things to let us communicate with people. A lot of people take pride in what music they listen to and like to share it with others. Whether for just the public eye or to see if anyone else likes the same kind of music, you still need a way of getting it on the web easily. iTunes Publisher does just that. Currently at 4.3.3, it's a great little program that let's you export your iTunes library in a number of ways. You can customize it by font and look, what columns you want shown (Artist, Album, Song, etc.), and how you want your data exported. The best way is probably via a webpage. It's listed nice and neat with tables so that everyone can just scroll away. Plus it's one file and you can easily upload it and update it anywhere. I highly reccomend checking it out if sharing your musical tastes with the world is your sorta thing.

The World's Hardest Game 2.0 - Time Waster

So, just how good at time waster games are you? Think you've got the stuff? Well, The World's Hardest Game 2.0 doesn't think you do. Yes, amazingly, it's possible to have a sequel to a game called "The World's Hardest Game". It doesn't seem logically possible, since if the first one was actually the world's hardest, how could another one come along and share the moniker? It made me doubt the name in the first place. That is, until I tried the game. The mechanics of the game are very simple. You are a small red square, ...
