Open Web Awards: Final voting round 1
We've laughed, we've cried, we've picked our favorite social networking sites. But there can be only one... in each category that is. Throughout the day, we'll be asking you to choose your favorite web sites and companies from our list of finalists. These finalists were chosen after poring over tens of thousands of votes cast by readers of Download Squad, our Open Web Awards partner Mashable, and two dozen other blogs that follow the social networking space.First up, we have Mainstream and Large Scale Networks, Applications and Widgets, Social News and Social Bookmarking, and Social Search. With Halloween fast approaching, it's a great time to get in some practice defending your territory against zombies. In Graveyard Shift, you take aim at zombies and other creepy-crawlies, blasting them into splatters of cartoony green guts. It's a casual first-person shooter, and it's very easy to get the hang of - use the mouse to aim, click to fire. Graveyard Shift has at least 15 levels, and it might even have some secret stages I haven't unlocked yet.
