Better still, there's no installer and nothing complicated to configure. Freemeter can either hang out on your desktop in fully opaque or variably transparent trim or stay hidden away in your system tray for easy access. Also built in to this clever little utility is a simple traceroute and ping console, as well as the ability to act as a notifier for a single Pop3 or IMAP email account.
