Corel is teaming up with Mozilla
In the wake of the news that Adobe is donating code to Mozilla, news broke yesterday of Corel hooking up with Mozilla. This time though, we will see Firefox bundled with some software instead: Corel will be packaging their WordPerfect Office X3 Home Edition 2007 with Firefox. The new package will include a word processor, spreadsheets, CD/DVD burning, and photo and video applications, as well as Norton security features. But will people be happy and willing to use it? This package from Corel usually sits at $79 retail. This smooth move from Corel is sure to get their brand buzzing again.
