Grid Wars - Today's Time Waster
In the style of Geometry Wars comes
Grid Wars, a little ditty written in Blitz basic. You can see some killer video of gameplay here, or read about the development in this forum. But I'm guessing you'd rather play. Which I can understand, because Grid Wars is a lot of fun. Even better,
there's a Mac and PC version. Personally I'm pretty excited about the Marble Madness clone, but Grid Wars has cooler
graphics. Be kind and don't hammer the server, or better yet, donate a little to the developer to pay for his

With Halloween fast approaching, it's a great time to get in some practice defending your territory against zombies. In Graveyard Shift, you take aim at zombies and other creepy-crawlies, blasting them into splatters of cartoony green guts. It's a casual first-person shooter, and it's very easy to get the hang of - use the mouse to aim, click to fire. Graveyard Shift has at least 15 levels, and it might even have some secret stages I haven't unlocked yet.
