Google returns the favor, includes Avast antivirus in Google pack

A quick look at the options on the Google Pack web page reveals that the change has begun. Right now, only users from certain countries will receive Avast in their download (Poland and Italy, for example).
The relationship between the two companies will no doubt mean big increases in the number of installs for both Chrome and Avast. The world's most popular free antivirus software and, well, Google -- together? That's the same kind of superhuman duo as Jan and Zayna! [the Wonder Twins]
Ok, it's probably a little more effective than "shape of a booby!" "form of an ice anvil!"... but you get the idea.

Chromatic is one of the best time-wasters I've recently come across. It's all about the gameplay -- no Flash graphics here. You play a "circle" (it doesn't really have a name in the game). You move around with the arrow keys, and you change colors with Z, X, and C.
You can either be red, blue, or yellow, and you can switch at any time during the game. Each color has different capabilities -- yellow can double-jump, while red has a longer dash (which is like a forward sprint, activated by double-pressing DOWN).

I'm surprised that Google still offers the bloated and slow Adobe Reader instead of something more nimble.

Too bad Microsoft Security Essentials is less of a resource hog and these days is getting to be the "chosen one" of anti-virus in Windows. At least it isn't Norton anymore.

It should offer Foxit Reader instead of the bloated Adobe Reader, I switched ages ago because of how slow it took to load up

So the evil google corporation which wants to rule the world, knows everything about everybody and offers products that are used by millions of people everyday recommends anti-virus of choice (which is must have for windows users) - the Avast Ant-virus? Wow! That's convincing recommendation!
Seriously now. Personally when I was choosing my anti-virus I didn't even think about Avast and now... well I have to check it out someday.

The two people that use Google Pack will appreciate this.

Avast is adequate, but hardly a leader in the anti-malware pack. It misses s LOT of stuff most others catch. Its also not very configurable. Avira Antivir is probably the best free antivirus overall.
