Youtu.be -- you'll never guess what this URL shortener does...

There isn't really a lot more to this one, other than a brief explanation of how they work:
- Take the 'key' from the end of a YouTube video URL -- The key, in the URL http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oHg5SJYRHA0 would be 'oHg5SJYRHA0'
- Stick it on the end of YouTu.be -- and... voila! http://youtu.be/oHg5SJYRHA0

Chromatic is one of the best time-wasters I've recently come across. It's all about the gameplay -- no Flash graphics here. You play a "circle" (it doesn't really have a name in the game). You move around with the arrow keys, and you change colors with Z, X, and C.
You can either be red, blue, or yellow, and you can switch at any time during the game. Each color has different capabilities -- yellow can double-jump, while red has a longer dash (which is like a forward sprint, activated by double-pressing DOWN).

But in all seriousness, I don't this service getting really popular. With about 30 characters long, most users will keep using bit.ly and other url-shorteners on twitter, while users on other sites will probably use the full URL. In short words: I think it's crap. =D

As far as short urls go, I just have one question - why would you need to keep the "http://" part? That's seven extra characters that seem completely unnecessary.
