First screenshots of Live Messenger 2010 appear

There's also the addition of social kung-fu with activity streams from sites like Twitter and Facebook. There's also a big win when it comes to the conversation window: a tabbed interface. Thank you, Live Messenger, for finally catching up to just about every other IM app on the planet in that respect.
I could do without the big, fat ad in the bottom corner, but ads in big-name IM apps have been doing that for quite a while.
I'll be sticking to Miranda for the little bit of IMing I do, but it looks as though Live Messenger 2010 will be a solid update.
The Illusionist's Dream is a simple platformer; you play as a magician who needs to get through each level by transforming into any number of animals that you encounter along the way.
Each animal can do different things; the butterfly can obviously fly, but if it encounters a frog, the frog eats it, and you have to start over again. There's also a fox that runs fast and leaps far, but it eats any rabbits that cross its path. That means that, if you may need to be a rabbit later on, you need to take that into account ...

it would be nice if we got the Jabber support this time around since it vanished after early builds of 2009

XMPP and better Yahoo integration support (what's with blocking invites on chats with YIM people? they're not cool enough to chat with my other MSN friends?) would be grand.
Social Networking stuff...meh. Every software and its dog wants to include them these days. Why should I update my status from MSN, if I can already update it from Firefox or someplace else?

I'm still hurting from Microsoft dropping support for Microsoft Messenger :(

I notice Yahoo Messenger, Google Talk, and X-Fire(at least out of game) don't do tabs either. AIM is the only major one I use that has it. Too bad for Live Messenger, all the people who wanted tabbed MSN already got Messenger Plus years ago(I know I did).

I'm not too sure about that. Some of us still like the separation of clients. I can't STAND the clients like trillian and miranda that stuff them all into 'fields', separating them by icons. For one, they're a bit too lightweight...underpowered and missing the little knicks and knacks (probably what you call bloatware) of the respective clients.
I run WLM, Yahoo and AIM on my PC and Notebook and I don't mind....in fact, I prefer it this way.

Seems someone is a bit butt hurt. I use and love Windows Live Messenger. I use Messenger Plus for plug-in support. I don't have an AIM account, Don't bother with Yahoo. I deleted my Myspace & Twitter because they were useless to me. Gmail for email. Windows Live is pretty much the only messenger I need because it is the only one I really use.
I also like Live Messenger's Skin.
