YouTube 1080p roll-out begins

So far there doesn't seem to be a way to search for the high-high definition videos, and the only example I have is a Nokia video of some poor, disadvantaged Indonesian farmer -- but I'm sure it's only a matter of time before YouTube/Google officially announce the changes to their video player.
In the meantime, if you find any videos that have been enabled for 1080p playback, share them in the comments!

Chromatic is one of the best time-wasters I've recently come across. It's all about the gameplay -- no Flash graphics here. You play a "circle" (it doesn't really have a name in the game). You move around with the arrow keys, and you change colors with Z, X, and C.
You can either be red, blue, or yellow, and you can switch at any time during the game. Each color has different capabilities -- yellow can double-jump, while red has a longer dash (which is like a forward sprint, activated by double-pressing DOWN).

It's no Hulu HD that's for sure. Pretty poor quality but maybe this video was shot in SD and then upconverted to HD. Dunno, but it looks like crap.

Yeah, I couldn't notice any real difference between 720p and 1080p -- but as you say, the source might not be 1080p :)

Nice slideshow. With Wave supporting only html5 browsers and youtube dropping ie6 support, maybe it's time to at least OFFER embedded video?!?
