Mozilla's Weave browser sync add-on for Firefox hits beta

Version 1.0b1 is out now and available for installation. Version 0.8 is still listed in the Firefox add-ons directory, but it should install the newest release. If you're already running Weave, just head to your Firefox add-ons and check for updates.

Yes, if you only use Firefox in other computers. I found Xmarks too heavy, sometimes Firefox looks frozen when Xmarks do the sync.
Some advantage of Xmarks : it available in several other browsers and you can actually browse your bookmarks using a web interface (I heard Weave going to implement it later).

yep, same here - for me Xmarks works like crap - I have a looot of bookmarks (but I suppose nothing to extreme) and while syncing down even several new boomarks it locked Firefox even for minutes - I dont get why people still tend to use it Xmarks, even Google new bookmarks syncing service is better

weave seems to work pretty good now but it took some house cleaning of the old bookmarks file to get there.
