PDFAmigo - quick, fillable pdf creator in your browser
You don't have to sign in to get started, however you will need to if you want to save your work or upload images. If you don't mind the huge watermark across your file, the pdf you create is free. Naturally, that might be a problem, so you can buy the file for $1.00 using Paypal and the watermark will be erased. This fee does not include future changes to the form, so each change you make to the form would be an additional $1. Also, the first page is $1, and additional pages are 50 cents. (If you like to tweak your output this might get a bit expensive). Just sayin.
Another option that is completely free is PDFescape. It also runs in your browser and you can create fillable pdf forms, albeit with less font options and features. Any other faves? Let us know!

Believe it or not, Atari have just released a bunch of old games on their own website. These aren't clones, these aren't even 'loving interpretations' -- these are the real thing, remade by Atari themselves. This comes as part of a re-launch for the Atari website which includes an online store.
I warn you, if you read on, this might turn into more than just a mere ten-minute time-waster.

It doesn't run in your browser, and doesn't make fillable forms, but *any* application can print to PDFCreator and result in a perfectly fine PDF document.

as the previous poster says, there are at least a dozen apps that use the print dialog to save as pdf from almost any application.
openoffice.org (3.0+) goes further with a plugin (not shipped with, must get extension named "pdf import") that will also allow you to edit pdf's freely, though it's still beta.

Firstly, thanks for reviewing PDFAmigo on Download Squad.
With regards to PDFEscape, even though both tools have their relative merits I would like to highlight a few differences:
- PDFEscape lets you add Text Fields and Check Boxes. PDFAmigo also allows for List Boxes, Combo Boxes and Radio Buttons.
- PDFEscape has limited visual customization options for new form fields. PDFAmigo lets you customize fonts, colors, borders, etc.
- PDFEscape only allows you to edit an existing document. So, save from uploading an empty PDF you cannot start with a blank template and add pages to it as you go.
- PDFAmigo lets you use images in your PDFs.
All in all I think PDFEscape works well if you have a “flat” PDF which you wish to annotate. PDFAmigo works better for those who wish to create a brand new form and customize its look & feel. Both tools can prove useful in the right situation but I don’t think they are quite exact substitutes.
