I used to use Google Earth exclusively, but always hated how long it took to load when all I wanted were the coordinates. GetLATLON loads in about 1000th the time it takes for Google Earth to come up.
And, I can get coordinates any time I'm near any PC, whether it has Google Earth installed or not.

It's "coordinates", not "co-ordinates". There's no such thing as a co of an ordinate.

You should try http://tinygeocoder.com/
I used this myself in in a project, to geocode addresses after user registration. It's really simple to use and very fast.... and free. Was really simple to fire off a webrequest using their api
