RoboForm now available for Google Chrome, sort of

RoboForm have created a customized Chromium installer which adds a floating toolbar below the Chrome browser window. Getting set up requires two installs.
First, you'll need to load RoboForm itself (if you haven't already, of course). Next, download the RoboForm for Chromium executable from RoboForm's website. Once you've removed other Chromium instances, run the setup and launch the custom build.
A note on the download page offers this reassurance: "When Google finalizes their public extensions framework, we will make every effort to ensure that RoboForm will work for Google Chrome within a very short time."
In the meantime, RoboForm for Chromium works, even if it does look -- err -- a little different.
So, just how good at time waster games are you? Think you've got the stuff? Well, The World's Hardest Game 2.0 doesn't think you do.
Yes, amazingly, it's possible to have a sequel to a game called "The World's Hardest Game". It doesn't seem logically possible, since if the first one was actually the world's hardest, how could another one come along and share the moniker? It made me doubt the name in the first place. So true. I was a hardcore Roboform user for around four years and once I discovered Last Pass I haven't looked back. More features, no ugly bar that takes up screen real esatate, and FREE!

Looks the same as "toolbar" you get in the exactly same place when you use Roboform in Firefox when you access a site with the Trident layout engine via something like IETab. One almost might even think they reused the same code.
I've never been able to get Lastpass to work when I use Trident within Firefox, its one thing I miss from Roboform, a clumsy solution is better than none. I also liked Roboform's stand alone windows program for doing maintenance. But I don't miss Roboform's waste of space mandatory toolbars.

Thanks for the article Lee
@RigfhtPaddock + others: The toolbar is *not* mandatory to use RoboForm. Where did you read/hear this? You can run it from the Windows Task Bar, there are right click menus, or you can move it to the right of the search on Firefox.
Feel free to hit up our support staff at any time for assistance on this.
