5byfive offers super-simple, super-slick album artwork discovery
However 5byfive is a super-slick but supremely simple tool for finding album art online. It's not designed to be used for adding artwork for your entire library, but if you're looking for an easy way to find the odd errant album artwork, 5byfive might be just the ticket. Depending on the artwork that you're after, you might need to enter a little more information than simply the album name - but in my tests, 5byfive was a great way to quickly and stylishly find the odd bit of artwork that iTunes struggled with.

That is a cool and useful search engine!
One neat trick I found, is that if the cover art is not the one you expected, or if there is an alternate cover for the same album that you are looking for, put a number after the album title.
For example, you will get different cover art for the same album if you enter:
electric ladyland
electric ladyland 1
electric ladyland 2
electric ladyland 3
electric ladyland 4

Thanks for pointing that out, because I was getting frustrated when I would see the cover I wanted pop-up briefly but then another image finally appeared. It would be better if the service had some navigation for results instead requiring such an undocumented feature.

5byfive looks interesting for quick one-off albums, though it'll most likely interrupt your work flow and you'll have to do the saving/embedding manually.
I personally use MuvUnder Cover: The Album Art Sleuth, http://www.muvunder.com/. It makes it super easy for me to keep my album artwork up-to-date for all my music, no matter the file format.
