Pandora Mobile application arrives in Android Market

Pandora Mobile allows you to create a personalised radio stream to listen to directly on your device. Simply enter an artist name, track name or a classical composer and Pandora will create a virtual 'radio station' that plays matching music and music that it deems fit for your tastes.
If you already have stations set up via the Pandora website, they will also become accessible on your device. The application includes a homescreen widget for convenient control of your playback and convenient 'thumbs up' and 'thumbs down' of the current track.
As mentioned above, Pandora Mobile -- as with the web based version -- is only available to U.S. users at the time of writing. If you're in other countries and you're looking for an alternative, check out imeem or last.fm (also free on the Android Market) or the recently launched Spotify streaming service (premium subscription required).

Yeah its pretty damn good. It seems to use a good bit of memory (on my g1) but thats the only slow part about it. Generally speaking, you wont have to wait more than 5 seconds for a song to cache and play if you have 3g. Ive heard the streaming on Edge is even superior to the likes of tunewiki and imeem. With Pandora's seemingly big outreach for more money (I'm referring to the fact that they charge $1 a month if you listen for more than 40 hours. Which is very reasonable.), I'm surprised that they made this a free app. Wish I could say the same for the Spotify app, but then again I'm in America. I really wish they would even give me the opportunity to pay for the service!
But I digress... If you havent downloaded the Pandora app, go get it asap. Its even better than their Flash-heavy webui.

Yes! I have been waiting for this for a long while now. It's working well, although there was a weird freezing issue after I initially installed it.
I recommend Pandora to everyone.
