Stick War - Time Waster

Stick WarStick War is a side-scrolling real-time strategy game, where you fight against stickman warriors with your own stickman warriors. Despite the basic graphics, Stick War boasts some very compelling game-play. The units are well balanced, and the game progresses at a rate that makes it easy to learn, but challenging nonetheless.

The game opens with an extremely cheesy voiceover that explains that in this world there are various races that worship their weapons. The back story is fairly unimportant; all you really need to know is that as you conquer each weapon-based group, you acquire the ability to make units of that type.

There is a helpful walkthrough if you find a level unbearably hard, but beware - the walkthroughs contain spoilers that can diminish your experience.

Stick War isn't a coffee-break game - if you're going to tackle it at work, do so on your lunch hour. Even better, wait until you get home and play it when your girlfriend, roommate or spouse is watching America's Got Talent.

The World's Hardest Game 2.0 - Time Waster

So, just how good at time waster games are you? Think you've got the stuff? Well, The World's Hardest Game 2.0 doesn't think you do. Yes, amazingly, it's possible to have a sequel to a game called "The World's Hardest Game". It doesn't seem logically possible, since if the first one was actually the world's hardest, how could another one come along and share the moniker? It made me doubt the name in the first place. That is, until I tried the game. The mechanics of the game are very simple. You are a small red square, ...
