Deja vu all over again: tab previews are back in Firefox 3.6

Originally slated for 3.0, then bumped to 3.5, then bumped again, tab previews are back in Firefox 3.6. To activate the feature, you'll need to jump into your about:config and search for browser.ctrlTab.previews. Double click the entry to set its value to true, and the result is what you see above.
Your last six tabs are displayed in a floating window, with a button below that allows viewing of all open tabs (screenshot after the break).

Again, you'll need to open about:config and change a value - browser.ctrlTab.mostRecentlyUsed - and set it to true.

So, just how good at time waster games are you? Think you've got the stuff? Well, The World's Hardest Game 2.0 doesn't think you do.
Yes, amazingly, it's possible to have a sequel to a game called "The World's Hardest Game". It doesn't seem logically possible, since if the first one was actually the world's hardest, how could another one come along and share the moniker? It made me doubt the name in the first place. That is, until I tried the game.
The mechanics of the game are very simple. You are a small red square, ...

Or just use FF add-on "Ctrl-Tab" which has been doing this all along (and works with the button at upper right -- "list all tabs.")
Or add-on "FoxTab" which provides 3-D switching between tabs -- beautiful, customizable interface that only takes up system resources while it's being used.

FoxTab is superb. We need more extensions like this that make much smarter use of all the graphic power the average user has access too now.
Be gone boring flat images!
An article waiting to happen maybe, the visually kick ass extensions for Firefox. FoxTab and Cooliris are two must haves in that category.

Or use IE which has been able to do this for a while...

And just who in their right mind would switch browsers just for this? Please, people, is logic so much to ask for?

Here's a really useful tip:
if you find a feature in a non-Firefox browser, check to see if there is an add-on which does it for Firefox. There is a good chance that there is. In this case, there are 2 (at least): Ctrl-Tab and FoxTab (I seem to rememer something like "Tab Showcase" or something, but that might be for older versions of Firefox).

FYI, "Deja vu all over again" is a double negative.
