Are these the first images of Google Chrome OS?

Looking for something a bit more tangible? We just might have it for you.

It doesn't seem logically possible, since if the first one was actually the world's hardest, how could another one come along and share the moniker? It made me doubt the name in the first place. That is, until I tried the game.
The mechanics of the game are very simple. You are a small red square, ...

At this point it looks more like "Fisher Price OS" than XP did with its huge red x's and ridiculous blue windows. That's impressive.
We'll see. Competition is good.

Exactly. Why would there be a Linux penguin and the Wine logo on the desktop? My bet is that its just a modded Linux distro.

Seriously, a yin-yang in the UI? What the hell does that mean? And those scroll bars are completely bewildering and useless. Total fake.

I gotta agree, looks like a heavily skinned Linux, rather than a professionally polished new OS.
If it is real, the fact it's running Wine is hilarious...

I find it hard to believe that Google, a beacon of clean, minimalist design, would have such an absolutely hideous UI - particularly that font - horrible! I call BS on this one.

I have a hard time believing that Google's UI team went anywhere near this. This can't be real.

There is a skin on Chrome browser which makes it unusable. Why would Google do this?? The only shot makes it very clear that this is some techy with a lot of free time at disposal....

Everyone here is saying how it just looks like a modded Linux distro. I don't even think I could say that.
I bet it's a few static fullscreen images made in Photoshop.
I call BS too!
