Excellent free burning program ImgBurn turns 2.5
Version 2.5 boasts a big list of additions, changes, and bugfixes, though the core functionality remains the same. It still burns discs and creates images as well as any program out there (if not better).
ImgBurn can also run as a portable app, perfect for carrying on your USB flash drive for burning on the go. Portable Freeware offers the following easy steps to convert the installer:
Download the installer and extract (using 7zip or similar) to a folder of your choice. Remove $PLUGINSDIR and [NSIS].nsi. Create an empty file called ImgBurn.ini in the same folder. Launch using "ImgBurn.exe /portable".The author suggests a paltry $2 donation for those who wish to support the program. If you feel like kicking in a couple bucks, you can do it via Paypal.

So, just how good at time waster games are you? Think you've got the stuff? Well, The World's Hardest Game 2.0 doesn't think you do.
Yes, amazingly, it's possible to have a sequel to a game called "The World's Hardest Game". It doesn't seem logically possible, since if the first one was actually the world's hardest, how could another one come along and share the moniker? It made me doubt the name in the first place. That is, until I tried the game.
The mechanics of the game are very simple. You are a small red square, ...

Imgburn is awesome, I used it when I was using Win XP and loved it. Good thing Brasero is very much similar to it on Ubuntu.

I currently use CDBurnerXP on my Windows machines and it's been working fine. Are there any significant reasons I should be using ImgBurn instead?

I believe Ashampoo Burning Studio Free is superior by a small margin.

Nero has multisession writing option. Does ImgBurn has this kind of option? I will go for ImgBurn if it supports multisession feature.

Last time i used it, CDBurnerXP was using significantly more resources than any other burner, very high CPU usage... and the problem was acknowledged by the developer, don't know if it has been fixed yet.
That's what I was using, but i've had to do with ImgBurn and InfraRecorder since... ImgBurn is the most stable and reliable of them all.
But I use InfraRecorder from time to time as it is easier to build folder structures (like CDBurnerXP), select multiple files/folders at the same time etc.
Looks like the latest ImgBurn added this option, meaning I'll probably only use it exclusively now. :D

My bad, adding multiple files/folders still sucks in ImgBurn.
oh well, infraRecorder will do for that kind of stuff.
