MyDefrag: The disk defragmenter formerly known as JkDefrag

MyDefrag actually offers a handful of different tools, that let you perform actions including analyzing your disks, defragmenting, or optimizing them. The program is faster and more customizable than the built-in Windows defrag utility. And it offers a ton of statistics as it defragments, along with a rather busy looking visualization. You can zoom in on the visualization by clicking on the screen, though.
While the software was based on JkDefrag, MyDefrag includes a new set of command line parameters and is no longer compatible with older versions of JkDefrag. You can find a complete list of changes by reading the release notes of MyDefrag 4.0 as well as the 12 beta versions that preceded it.

Well don't know. first time my anti-virus ever caught
a backdoor and it is reliable. don't know why a program would need to install
is-3CT81.tmp backdoor anyway. My other programs update themselves without them.

Yep use Vipre and not one of those freebie ones and no it has caught other stuff before. Just never a backdoor program. Submitted to vipre to make sure of it and waiting. Always eager to try new programs to see if one better then the other so i wanted to try this defrag utility. I figured better to give a heads up just in case. Better safe then sorry. If turns out to be non founded then no harm done, but if is then some people may of appreciated it

JKDefrag is/was a great program. Especially useful is the screensaver function which will automatically defrag the disk, which is good for a freebie, as many of my clients never remember to do it.
