Fugly Friday - The Most Amazing Website on The Internet

The site -- apparently designed in answer to a school project which offered no concern as to visual appeal, or safety for epileptics -- nails the concept. An auto-starting MIDI file, dancing cats, an oddly disembodied and highly mobile Mel Gibson, and a (late season) full cast photo from Full House are all used to spectacular effect.
Regular readers of Fugly Friday might accuse me of taking the easy way out this week. Hitting a low hanging piece of fruit with a cheap shot before turning to run. I beg to differ with those naysayers and hand-wringers. This is indeed low hanging fruit, but it also may be the absolute ugliest site on the web, and that in and of itself is an amazingly difficult task.
Click through. I dare you. But first, let me warn; There are some things in life that, once seen, cannot be unseen.

So, just how good at time waster games are you? Think you've got the stuff? Well, The World's Hardest Game 2.0 doesn't think you do.
Yes, amazingly, it's possible to have a sequel to a game called "The World's Hardest Game". It doesn't seem logically possible, since if the first one was actually the world's hardest, how could another one come along and share the moniker? It made me doubt the name in the first place. That is, until I tried the game.
The mechanics of the game are very simple. You are a small red square, ...

My eyes, my eyes! While I sometimes love me some good nostalgia of 90's-era design, this would have been considered bad even back then!

As a Retired Mental Health Therapist I can attest to the fact that schizophrenics see this on a daily basis if not on medication...

I am positive it wasnt really done by someone for school project.
It looks to me like a satire @ the 90s style of web designing.

well, after look through the HTML source (it's not fun, but good for my eyes ) , I start to wonder was that really made by some teen for school assignment during late 90s as it looks like.
First of all, according to the answer for the questionnaire on that page, it was made in last year (2008). and the author knows somehow that he can host all the images for that website by flickr, and he didn't forget to get new e-mail account for website from gmail, especially one has strong anti spam filter, so good to be left on the website without special coding.
In addition to this, he seems to know how to host his own domain.
I'm wondering now, perhaps this website was just created to get attention from you, DLS.
