Miro 2.5 RC1 released: Internet video player for Windows, OS X
The latest version is designed to be faster than Miro 2.0 while using less memory. There don't appear to be a ton of new features, but Miro 2.5 RC1 does have a tantalizing section marked "Miro Audio Guide" which would seem to imply that Miro plans to add links to audio podcasts soon. I have been using the RC for a few days and it is a lot more stable. Props to the Miro team for improving the usability. It still has some memory leak problems, but crashes have been virtually eliminated.
As an aside, Miro has had clunky audio support since the 2.0 release. Basically, you can plop any feed into Miro and it will scan it for multimedia content.

Yeah, I sort of omitted that because Miro 2.5 RC1 is available for OS X, Windows, or as source. But I've updated the post to make things more clear.
