Yes, Windows 7 really will RTM in ten days
Microsoft has activated the As mentioned a two weeks ago - and now been confirmed by an 'inside source' close to our chum Paul at Geeksmack - the final build is slated for July 10th and code sign-off will follow on the 13th.
General availability won't come until October, officially. However, since the RTM ISO downloads will be available to Technet and MSDN subscribers soon, they'll probably be available on every torrent tracker in the known universe within hours of the first successful download.
Or sooner, if the crew at Wzor.net is feeling generous.
With Halloween fast approaching, it's a great time to get in some practice defending your territory against zombies. In Graveyard Shift, you take aim at zombies and other creepy-crawlies, blasting them into splatters of cartoony green guts. It's a casual first-person shooter, and it's very easy to get the hang of - use the mouse to aim, click to fire. Graveyard Shift has at least 15 levels, and it might even have some secret stages I haven't unlocked yet.
They key to getting good at Graveyard Shift is learning to use ...

Hmm.... I am an Apple fan, but Apple is acting like an a**, so I'm pissed. Windows 7 news is always exciting! I'm really looking forward to Windows 7.
BTW, do the Bug reporters get a free copy of Win 7 ??
Some vista beta users said that they did get one.

What's the easiest way to go from 7100 RC to the RTM?
Can I upgrade at all or will it need a clean install?

As usual, you can probably upgrade but because Microsoft said they won't test Windows 7 -> Windows 7 upgrades, you might end up with some weird bug. So a clean install is my personal choice.

@Taras: No idea. I'm running 7260 and it's running very well.

10 days, and I'll have my laptop on RTM. Great!
I guess I need to get that memory and hard drive upgrade for this desktop so I can go to Win 7 here.
And get my other desktop prepared to be my Palm sync platform, since Palm refuses to support 64-bit anymore. Really pisses me off. Yeah, yeah, I can use bluetooth, but that's slow as molasses compared to the wire, and the way it works, I can't even leave it plugged in to keep it charged!
