Mozilla-based email client Postbox finally gets add-ons
The latest build of Postbox also adds a long list of other useful features. If you're switching from Mail.app, you can now easily migrate your settings to Postbox. Postbox will now also pull photos for your contacts from OS X's address book or from Twitter. Several performance upgrades and fixes of annoying issues from earlier versions are also in place now, so it looks like a good time to consider giving Postbox a try.

With Halloween fast approaching, it's a great time to get in some practice defending your territory against zombies. In Graveyard Shift, you take aim at zombies and other creepy-crawlies, blasting them into splatters of cartoony green guts. It's a casual first-person shooter, and it's very easy to get the hang of - use the mouse to aim, click to fire. Graveyard Shift has at least 15 levels, and it might even have some secret stages I haven't unlocked yet.
They key to getting good at Graveyard Shift is learning to use ...

I used it at work and it is a very good app. But I still like Thunderbird, but love the speedy Claws email client. :)

By this do you mean Postbox? Postbox is very macish in their design and look, it's a very nice app with cool stuff. But I use Claws email because it's fast with IMAP, and I have hundreds of email if not thousands at work and I need really fast IMAP retrieval so I can get what I need fast. Plus Claws email is basic and gets the job done.

What is the purpose of Mozilla having two email clients? Does this one do something Thunderbird doesn't?

Postbox isn't Mozilla's, it's based on Mozilla's code for Thunderbird, but it's a separate app that is made for another company similar to Flock is to Firefox.

I'm running Thunderbird at the moment (using IMAP to Google Apps) and, quite frankly, I might as well just stick to the web UI.
Whilst it's no doubt that Thunderbird has had a lot of effort put into it, the UI is unpolished, the options are poorly presented and the defaults for just about anything (include the buttons!) are completely insane.
Not only that but you have to do silly things such as install an add-on just to get fonts being presented properly. And I still have the issue that it doesn't word wrap text causing annoyance to people who don't use Thunderbird.
It needs a similar amount of loving that Firefox has.

Postbox is a full leap ahead of Thunderbird in terms of usability and power features. I wouldn't even consider them on the same playing field. The search feature that Postbox brings to the table is why I use it - no other client I know of has that level of search capability.
