With Halloween fast approaching, it's a great time to get in some practice defending your territory against zombies. In Graveyard Shift, you take aim at zombies and other creepy-crawlies, blasting them into splatters of cartoony green guts. It's a casual first-person shooter, and it's very easy to get the hang of - use the mouse to aim, click to fire. Graveyard Shift has at least 15 levels, and it might even have some secret stages I haven't unlocked yet.

OEMs will get their hands on it in July, so we'll likely see the full RTM on torrent trackers well in advance of October 22nd.
I hear someone's been leaking a build every now and then...

I'll be watching the torrents just like when Vista RTM came out. I remember seeing a picture of a Vista display in a store, that said Coming Soon, and someone put a burned Vista RTM disc with serial on that display.

why does almost every Win7 screen i see have goofy boxes on the desktop. what is that?

thats when you point at the desktop it moves the windows out of the way so you can see the desktop.

This is confusing. In the post you say it will be commercially available October 2009!!!
How is that the case??? I think you are mistaken i think it is 2010!
I say this because the Microsoft windows 7 emails being sent out about expiry dates say that the Release Candidate will be shutting down from MARCH 1, 2010 to JUNE 1, 2010...
If the RC is shutting down in 2010 i don't think the final will be out before the RC expires...!
I think you are mistaken because the preview of the source quoted does not actually say 2009... Can we please try figure this out!

I'm pretty sure it's 2009! It wouldn't make sense to expire the RC until after the real version is commercially available. Then you'd have to switch back to vista before upgrading back to win7... that would be ridiculous!

Hmm yeah i guess but you'd think they would overlap it by 1-2 months not 5 months. Hmm maybe you do have a good point.

I suspect system will have vouchers for a free Win7 upgrade in time for back to school sales. This is the traditional pattern for major new Windows releases.

I notice the release date of october is similar to the information being
circulated, that "Windows Live One Care" will not be supported after october 09. Can any one tell me is this synonmous are they connected in any way. I wonder if the utilities in One Care are to be part of Win7?
