DeskPins adds an "always on top" thumbtack to any Windows app
Here's how it works. Say you're watching a video and you want your media player to be visible no matter what other programs you're working in. Just click the DeskPins icon in the system tray to pick up a pushpin, and click on your media player to pin it to the top. Now any other windows you open will be tucked away behind your media player.
You can still minimize pinned programs to the system tray when you don't want to look at them. And unpinning them is as simple as clicking the pin that shows up at the top of the window. One of the reasons I like DeskPins is because it makes it simple to see at a glance whether a program is pinned or not.
DeskPins also has an Autopin feature that lets you automatically pin certain applications whenever they're opened. You cna also enable hotkeys that let you place a pin without clicking on the system tray icon first.

They key to getting good at Graveyard Shift is learning to use ...

aww man :( I thought you where talking about a real pin to pin an specific spot on your desktop that stays on top. that is what I need. I want something that lets me put a pin or mark on my desktop that stays on top of all windows and saves so I can leave it there and it will be there when I restart.
