Earn some bragging rights with When Did You Join Twitter?
When did you join Twitter? You might have noticed people tweeting recently about when they started their accounts, and wondered how to figure out how old your own Twitter account is. One way is to check out the appropriately-named When Did You Join Twitter? There doesn't seem to be much of a point to this, unless you're a competitive early adopter. Even though the site doesn't automatically post your info to Twitter, a lot of people seem to be tweeting about it anyway. I guess there are some bragging rights to be had for being on Twitter longer, but why it warrants a whole site is beyond me. A listing of the oldest accounts might be interesting to read, though. Maybe When Did You Join Twitter? should start a leaderboard.
So, just how good at time waster games are you? Think you've got the stuff? Well, The World's Hardest Game 2.0 doesn't think you do.
Yes, amazingly, it's possible to have a sequel to a game called "The World's Hardest Game". It doesn't seem logically possible, since if the first one was actually the world's hardest, how could another one come along and share the moniker? It made me doubt the name in the first place. That is, until I tried the game.
The mechanics of the game are very simple. You are a small red square, ...

Does anybody else hate Twitter? Like, the whole idea of Twitter? As in, I-really-wish-that-website-would-just-go-away type of hate? To me it seems like a site for older people(who are too noobish for Facebook) to go to so they can feel cool and web savvy. Them and smug/self-important people who have to post what they're doing every second of their lives. As if anybody cares that you're 'washing my hybrid' or 'smelling my own farts.'
I know I'm probably going to get downranked for this, but I'm just hoping there's still some people out there who realize that Facebook already does basically the same exact thing and that there's no need to have more than one social networking site.

I hate Twitter, too, along with Facebook. MySpace, and the rest of "social networking."

Wow. I can type "whois username" to find that out. Without using some stupid app.

Twitter is like a breath of fresh air on the Social Media scene. I have been on it for just a few weeks now and I have met several interesting people. It is a platform to network with people you would like to meet in real life.

7/17/2006 for me. I'm OG. I think it's cuz I used to use Odeo and since Twitter was their side-project, they had banner ads the minute it launched.
