Edison helps your PC conserve energy, save you money
Here's how it works. You can slide a fader to adjust your energy saving preferences. Edison will automatically adjust your Windows power scheme to turn off your display, hard drive, and computer after a certain period of inactivity. You can set separate profiles for "work time" and "non-work time" allowing you to change your power schemes automatically. Edison also lets you decide when your work day begins and ends.
The program also estimates how much money, energy, and CO2 you'll save at various settings.

For anyone considering using this program, Pleeeeease talk to your company's IT group BEFORE you install this on a work computer. Install it on your home computer all you want to save your own cash, but this (and other utils like it) should not be installed on a computer you do no support.
