Xobni drops beta, organizes your Outlook info faster
The new version doesn't come with any shiny new features, but it it does have a number of improvements under the hood that let Xobni and Outlook work better together. For instance, Xobni loads faster, loads messages better due to caching, and users can controlho woften and how much of their email is indexed by the plugin. You can also decide whether Xobni will open every time you launch Outlook or if you want it to appear only when you want it.
Xobni continues to be available as af ree download, but the company is working on a premium version that will be available this summer.

So, just how good at time waster games are you? Think you've got the stuff? Well, The World's Hardest Game 2.0 doesn't think you do.
Yes, amazingly, it's possible to have a sequel to a game called "The World's Hardest Game". I've been using Xobni for about a year and it's really useful.
The only issue is that it makes Outlook a bit heavier on resources, but if you Outlook inbox is big, you'll never be able to live without it after trying.

Xobni has been my 2nd brain ever since I installed it. :)
Great for when when someone you haven't talk to in months calls up and asks "Remember that file you sent me?"
No, but Xobni does.

I actually just uninstalled it a few days ago because of how much it affected Outlook performance. I'm in IT, so my benefit from it wasn't that great to begin with, but for sales/marketing staff, I can see the gains.
It isn't going to hurt your machine to try it out, but it will take much longer for Outlook to start up, switch between emails, etc. It makes the memory footprint much larger as well. Admittedly, I do have a large # of emails, but that's not going to change anytime soon.

Seems like the new version is perfect for you, then. It addresses speed and makes the product much faster.

I never noticed a speed issue with the beta version, and I'm a e-mail horder. That being said, the new version is much faster.
