So, just how good at time waster games are you? Think you've got the stuff? Well, The World's Hardest Game 2.0 doesn't think you do.
Yes, amazingly, it's possible to have a sequel to a game called "The World's Hardest Game". It doesn't seem logically possible, since if the first one was actually the world's hardest, how could another one come along and share the moniker? It made me doubt the name in the first place. I switched from Office 2000 to freeware OpenOffice 3.0 several month ago. I am very happy with it, and the price is certainly OK.
Still looking for a Windows substitute. PCLinuxOS 2009.1 looks promising.

I would suggest Ubuntu as your starter Linux Distro. It certainly has the support and community behind it. If you are trying to mimic the Windows interface LinuxXP & Vixta are the closest.....But, like ReactOS they are in the early stages (Alpha)
- I was wondering how long they would support this after playing around with Windows 7..........

so does this include support overriding the cd-key limit that everyone hits over and over again? I hope not that would really suck, tho in saying that its also something M$ probably would do.

Isn't that simply a machine? If I remember correctly, when I called that toll-free number I never reached a representative....You'd think they would keep that and move all of the "human" tech's to Vista and 7....

The machine will route you to a human representative if it suspects foul play (if you change more than 3 components on your pc, it will).

Apparently they gave up support because they couldn't fix them, period....and that guy they stuck with answering questions thought XP was an energy drink and Office 2003 was his cubical number....

XP was great in it's time but it's time to let the old horse die already. Honestly I don't understand why so many people are so stuck up about keeping it.

C'mon. Everyone I know hates Vista,Loves it. Hates XP, Loves it. Can't wait for Windows7. It will disappoint millions just like Vista did.
If everyone was to use Free OS'es. It would cause MS and Apple to lower their prices. Well, we all know that wont happen. Just like the oil prices. The rich and misinformed will continue to buy.

Aren't they still selling XP on netbooks? Office 2003 I can understand because they no longer sell it. But it doesn't make much sense to discontinue XP tech support if they're still actively selling it on systems.

Yeah XP is rubbish, is run faster than Vista, has less bugs, runs lean on hardware for netbooks...
Vista was an experiment that failed, thats why Win 7 is being rushed out and you paid for it, ROFL.
Time to get your cash out boys daddy MS needs a new feed... :D

1) How can you even measure something like bugs? If you compare what needed fixed in patches, XP required FAR more patching in it's first two years than Vista (hint: that means Vista was less buggy).
2) If you were paying attention three years ago you'd know 'Vienna' was always on the roadmap for a 2009 release. Take one guess as to what Vienna's new name is. Oh look, they didn't rush anything, especially not in response to Vista. And if Vista was such a failed experiment why is so much of it still prevalent in 7?
