Twitter IM support coming to Adium
Your Twitter contacts would show up in your Adium list, and you can follow, unfollow and presumably group them from there. Opening a new chat will allow you to exchange direct messages. Displaying your timeline will be handled through Adium's existing group chat interface, with @replies to you highlighted. All in all, this looks like a promising project to restore a Twitter feature that a lot of people found useful. Now, if only they could figure out how to bring back tracking ...

Yes, amazingly, it's possible to have a sequel to a game called "The World's Hardest Game". It doesn't seem logically possible, since if the first one was actually the world's hardest, how could another one come along and share the moniker? It made me doubt the name in the first place. Using it right now and it is slick! Read and reply links on every tweet (even replies TO a message, so no random messages appearing now, its all linked). Updates as frequent as every 2 minutes (not sure if they have rate limiting set up yet, or if they ever will, as their current setup is nice) and they have plenty of features in the works for it too!
BTW, there is no beta or alpha or anything yet, but I am using the SVN release. If you aren't really tech-savvy, don't even consider running it :P
