10 iGoogle themes that actually look good

Hell is other people's iGoogle themes. I love the custom Google homepage as much as the next person, but the selection of user-submitted themes is, frankly, atrocious. The list ranges from photos of Angelina Jolie to photos of some guy's dog, with very few options that actually hold up over weeks and months of being in your face whenever you open a new browser window. Instead of subjecting you to the worst of the worst -- maybe we'll save them for a Fugly Friday -- I've collected my top 10 well-done iGoogle themes.

You're missing quite a few in that list...Solar System, PHP Coder, Flox, Earth-light, Grass, and Radiohead are ones that I'm currently using. But really, ya, most of them are god awful.

I'm not a fan of Flox, for whatever reason. I know it's really popular, though.

Flox replaced Maeda's scheme for me... I think I recall that I didn't like the way it dealt with wide screens. Either that or it just started booring me.

Since I've discovered Tea House, I haven't changed it from that. That has been my theme for over 2 years. It changes themes 12 times a day and it has a special header at 3:14am (pi time), but doesn't get in the way of the search bar and it's cute. I find it relaxing, but that's me.

I even have it as my Gmail theme.
