Tweetie 1.3 rejected from App Store because of swearing on Twitter
Most of the competing iPhone Twitter apps also have trends, and would have been just as "offensive" if they had run into the bad luck of being tested while something Apple didn't like was popular. The Atebits Twitter account has been equal parts frustrated and practical in commenting on the rejection. I think the idea of sending screenshots of trends in other Twitter apps to Apple, hashtag cussing included, is brilliant.
Update: Tweetie 1.3 has now been accepted into the app store, and the developers don't seem to have any hard feelings toward Apple. I hope this case highlights the need to continue improving the app store submission process.

With Halloween fast approaching, it's a great time to get in some practice defending your territory against zombies. In Graveyard Shift, you take aim at zombies and other creepy-crawlies, blasting them into splatters of cartoony green guts. It's a casual first-person shooter, and it's very easy to get the hang of - use the mouse to aim, click to fire. Graveyard Shift has at least 15 levels, and it might even have some secret stages I haven't unlocked yet.
They key to getting good at Graveyard Shift is learning to use ...

Apple users are the most inane ever. They can bash Microsoft for silly reasons but Apple is faultless. We need more users to stand up against this tyranny, but I guess kindergarten kids with pink shades, no real concept of how to spend money who also are high on valium aren't the most reasonable people around...

LOL - who's defending Apple in the comments at this time. Sounds like you are just a hater spreading hate.

Here is the problem with nonsense like this. Less than 18 hours this gets posted everywhere, Apple the company supposedly slow to make decisions like this approved, here is the APPROVED Tweetie 1.3 app with NO changes.
I just downloaded it. So before more of the Apple hating morons go on and on. It was NOT true!

The problem is that it was denied initially. That is ALL that needs to be said and is simply more proof that Apple doesn't have a fracking idea of what they heck they are doing with this "approval" system. Instead Mactards like you come on deck to defend their retarded practices. It doesn't change the fact that this would NEVER have happened on the G1 or if Apple allowed apps to be installed after turning on a switch in the OS like you can in Android. And no I'm no fan of Android either. I have a G1 and it sucks....hard.

OK JON DOE,
You sure look like a deer in the headlights on this one. First of all I am not a Mac anything. This is about iPhones which are owned by many Windows users!
Second it was denied because it was FULL of BULL and that was the point of my comment, I am sorry you can't read and comprehend!
Since you like the G1 Android phone WHY the HELL would you care? iPhone now has 30K apps all approved and in the App Store, until Android comes anywhere close to this I think you HAVE NO POINT. But WE already knew that didn't we?
