Readability unclutters your online reading material

Readability offers modes for everyone who reads online, whether you prefer a terminal-style light-on-dark monospace style or a newspaper-style serif. Text size is customizable and can be made extra large, which actually strikes me as an accessibility feature, and not just a convenience. You can also adjust the column width to suit your personal preferences. Yes, amazingly, it's possible to have a sequel to a game called "The World's Hardest Game". It doesn't seem logically possible, since if the first one was actually the world's hardest, how could another one come along and share the moniker? It made me doubt the name in the first place. Did you test this? When I try it with Firefox 3.0.6 on the Download Squad front page all I get is a blank page.

Great concept -- especially for folks who have vision loss and need to have webpages reformatted without all the "junk.' However, it does not work consistently. Still needs some development!

Just what I was looking for.
Works on about 60% of sites.
Does not work with the bbc or www.linuxtoday.com
Does work on www.theregister.co.uk and the www.theinquirer.net
For the rest I use "Add/Remove web site defined styles"
From the "Toolbar Buttons" extension from Firefox (I think).
Cheers

you may want to try TidyRead. It has accuracy to extract articles and supports different languages.
