Open source video player, aggregator Miro goes 2.0
The team behind open source internet video player Miro have pushed out version 2.0. The new player features a new interface, improved speed and performance, and the ability for users to add links to online streaming video portals like Hulu and CBS.com to the sidebar.
Unlike other internet video players which are primarily focused on offering streaming video content, Miro is built for downloading videos. This means you can typically watch higher quality videos and you can watch your movies when you're offline. You can subscribe to any video podcast with an RSS feed, browse for videos in the Miro Guide, or download YouTube videos.

Half the stuff is from Hulu which does not stream properly with proxy servers.... So its useless!
Usless there is a way to browse sits like YouTube within the app!

Make sure to back up your database. I upgraded from 1.2.8 to 2.0 on OS X and the new version emptied my library and playlists. Going back to 1.2.8 didn't solve the problem, either.

Buggy as hell, keeps crashing (Windows Vista, but never did 2 or 3 nightly releases previous to this one), numerous display issues (have you seen the system tray menu, default name sort is Z-A) - all reported, all ignored.
Should never have been a release-candidate let alone a full release.
Stick to v1 for now.
