Google Chrome to support extensions by May?

From the conference notes, the session will teach developers to create extensions "using the web technologies [they] already know." Working with the various APIs that are detailed in the Chrome design documents will also be covered.
While Chrome currently supports userscripts, the lack of extensions has been a major deterrent for many Firefox users considering making the switch. There's no doubt developers will be eager to start turning out extensions once they're finally able.

The Illusionist's Dream is a simple platformer; you play as a magician who needs to get through each level by transforming into any number of animals that you encounter along the way.
Each animal can do different things; the butterfly can obviously fly, but if it encounters a frog, the frog eats it, and you have to start over again. There's also a fox that runs fast and leaps far, but it eats any rabbits that cross its path. That means that, if you may need to be a rabbit later on, you need to take that into account ...

Google Chrome is probably superior to IE as it stands now, but it will not be in the same league as Firefox until a competent extension library is developed.

Firefox is a way-better browser, and already has thousands of add-ons! I don’t get why someone would get excited for google chrome!

I just don't see how this can blow up like Firefox. I like the quickness of Chrome. It boots up in less than a second. I like the Task Manager for tabs that it offers. But I use Waaaaaay to many add-ons in firefox. First, FOXMARKS and DownThemAll. Then things like AutoPager (no more clicking next, it provides infinite scrolling on the same screen). And other add-ons like myspace toolbar, greasemonkey, screengrab, gmail manager, web mail notifier, and TWITTERFOX! To many freaking awesome things about Firefox to give it up. EVER! I have so many different portable firefox's its not funny. Mozilla really out did themselves. Internet Explorer is loosing more and more people every month to Firefox. Currently 21 percent of computers are browsing the web using Firefox.

I use a browser for the internet, and I want speed when I use the internet. Even when I had Firefox, I never used add-ons.
