Google toolbar adds Chrome's speed dial to Firefox
In addition to your 9 most frequently visited sites, the page also displays recent bookmarks and recently closed tabs. The update also boasts an array of new buttons and the ability to add Gadgets as buttons.
Here's a shocker for you: the new version has been labeled a "second beta" by Google. We'll wait with bated breath to see if the label changes at some point in the next 8 years.

So, just how good at time waster games are you? Think you've got the stuff? Well, The World's Hardest Game 2.0 doesn't think you do.
Yes, amazingly, it's possible to have a sequel to a game called "The World's Hardest Game". It doesn't seem logically possible, since if the first one was actually the world's hardest, how could another one come along and share the moniker? It made me doubt the name in the first place. This would be hot stuff if those features weren't already built into Firefox (Most Visited, Recently Bookmarked) or readily available via add-ons (Speed Dial, Fast Dial)

Speed Dial and Fast Dial don't automatically add your top sites to the page, though.

The new features may not be shocking, but they're still a nice addition. And it may mean that some users will not need to install additional extensions to get what they want.

i wish there was an option to get rid of that "most visited" page completely in chrome. if there was, it would be a near perfect browser. that page gets on my nerves so bad. yes i changed it so that it opens one of the websites i like when it starts up but when i open a new tab, it comes up. that one option would be amazing.

I've been using Speed Dial in Firefox but the "new tab" layout in Chrome is my favorite thing about Chrome. It's nice to have it Firefox now.

Speed dial is pretty sweet.
That's why i've been using it in Opera for quite some time now. And it's even (gasp) customizable.

I personally like the new tab king addon from newtabking.com - work like a charm to me to show the most used websites for the given part of the day
