FeedDemon to add Google Reader synchronization
The new build with Google Reader support isn't publicly available yet, but developer Nick Bradbury posted a link to a Flickr image of the next version of FeedDemon yesterday. Google Reader integration isn't the only new feature in store for FeedDemon 2.8. The currently available release candidate already includes enhanced support for Twitter feeds.
If you can't wait for FeedDemon 2.8 RC3, you can try RSS Bandit, which already allows users to synchronize their feeds with Google Reader.

So, just how good at time waster games are you? Think you've got the stuff? Well, The World's Hardest Game 2.0 doesn't think you do.
Yes, amazingly, it's possible to have a sequel to a game called "The World's Hardest Game". It doesn't seem logically possible, since if the first one was actually the world's hardest, how could another one come along and share the moniker? It made me doubt the name in the first place. That is, until I tried the game.
The mechanics of the game are very simple. You are a small red square, ...

Last I heard they were putting ads in 2.8. Is this still the case?
And thanks for the heads-up about RSS Bandit. I'm definitely looking for an ad-free alternative, and it'll make the move from NewsGator to Google much easier.

I'm running what is, as far as I can tell, the latest public FeedDemon and yes, there's one ad in the bottom left corner.
It's still a nice piece of software, though, and I'll continue to use it; if one ad that doesn't take up too much space gets them some money from someone who isn't me, so be it.

i'm still looking for a good mobile rss reader for WinMo or BB, similar to opera mini that can sync with google reader.
so far all the readers i've seen are too cumbersome to use. constantly have to close current article and open another one...opera mini's display all articles fully expanded in one big list so i just have to scroll down. it's also good because it downloads the whole feed, so i can continue reading when train goes underground.

From what I've seen the 2.8 beta, yes.
There are ad's, but not too many, and it's not that bad.
It's bearable.

The advert was going to be the last straw, I was planning to migrate all my feeds to some other platform... and then they finally have the common sense to add greader syncing. I guess i'll have to stick with it. Now if only they would sort out the bugs in the program and stop it being such a resource hog we might finally have a worthy rss reader.
