Windows 7 beta download is up, not on the Windows 7 page

Just because that's where it is doesn't mean you'll be able to download it easily. There are a few form fields to complete and you'll have to sign in with your Microsoft passport, and I have yet to have success. If one part of the form works, the next one fails.
My last attempt yielded a "please check back on the following business day," message.
Technical difficulties? From Microsoft? Oh, please.
Once they're fixed, this is the page that will start you on your journey to the beta download, so keep an eye on it. You might even want to use the Mr. Uptime addon for Firefox.

With Halloween fast approaching, it's a great time to get in some practice defending your territory against zombies. In Graveyard Shift, you take aim at zombies and other creepy-crawlies, blasting them into splatters of cartoony green guts. It's a casual first-person shooter, and it's very easy to get the hang of - use the mouse to aim, click to fire. Graveyard Shift has at least 15 levels, and it might even have some secret stages I haven't unlocked yet.
They key to getting good at Graveyard Shift is learning to use ...

By the way, I found out that M$ has not uploaded the product key generation page and so these errors occured. It will be uploaded at 12 PM PST and then the final page will load with the key.
Some more time to go..........

Jesus, took me about thirty minutes and countless refreshes to get through to verify my email and now I have the product key page up just waiting for the clock to strike 1 (I'm in AZ).

Argh. Got to the product key page (no product key there, obviously), thought I'd refresh it, everything went wrong and back to the start again. Well I think that's where I am at least!

As per the Microsoft Partner page..
"Download Windows 7 Beta
Partners with a MSDN or TechNet subscription can download Windows 7 Beta now. All other partners can download Windows 7 Beta starting January 9, 2009 at 12:00 P.M. Pacific Time. "
That is 35 mins from now.

Hmm, what happens if you don't have a key? Someone mentioned in the other post about it that the torrents were confirmed to have the same SHA-1 hash, so I might as well use that if I miss out on the beta keys.

They have delayed the release of the beta due to heavy traffic on the site

Amused to note that the TechNet page has now been altered to read:
"Windows 7 Beta coming soon!"

The linked TechNet page now reads:
"Thanks for your interest in the Windows 7 Beta. The volume has been phenomenal -- we’re in the process of adding more servers to handle the demand. We’re sorry for the delay and we’ll re-post the Beta as soon as we can ensure a quality download experience."
