WinCDEmu mounts disc images as Windows drives
Once you've downloaded and installed WinCDEmu, you can have Windows treat any ISO, CUE, BIN, RAW, IMG, or SMB network share as a hard drive just by double clicking on the file. If another program is already your default utility for mounting images, you'll need to right click on the file and select "open with vmnt" to use WinCDEmu. You can unmount a file by right clicking on the virtual drive letter in Windows Explorer and clicking "eject."

Wish this also did cue for flac/ape/mp3. Daemon Tools does but it doesn't have nice UI interface. Should be context menu simple...

if this will support windows 7 i'll probably ditch Daemon tools and switch once i reinstall my system.

tested yesterday on my laptop: installed, rebooted 7, and mounted an iso file ^^

Me too. I've tried many many programs as my main computer is a tablet, and so far Alcohol 52% is still the best for me :)

FYI: A big issue I had with this software was the lack of an uninstall option.

The only reason I get discouraged from using Daemon Tools is the need to restart Windows after installation. What about this WinCDEmu thing? Do I still have to restart? Lemme see...

Trying it on Vista 32, and found a problem: it won't mount any images over a network if you haven't mapped a drive. Says it can't find the file specified.
I was going to leave a message on the SourceForge project page, but the developer hasn't answered any of the other messages, so I didn't bother.
Note I also had to right-click and run as administrator to get the installer to complete successfully.
