2 web pages, 1 tab - Google Chrome Dual View
Then you can use a Javascript bookmarklet called Google Chrome Dual View. Just drag the bookmarklet to your bookmark toolbar and when you hit the button Google Chrome will ask you to input two web addresses. It will then open them up side by side in a single browser tab.
No, it's not the most elegant solution. But it works. As an added bonus, the bookmarklet works in Firefox (and possibly other web browsers) as well. I just don't see why you'd choose to use it instead of Split Browser.

With Halloween fast approaching, it's a great time to get in some practice defending your territory against zombies. In Graveyard Shift, you take aim at zombies and other creepy-crawlies, blasting them into splatters of cartoony green guts. It's a casual first-person shooter, and it's very easy to get the hang of - use the mouse to aim, click to fire. Graveyard Shift has at least 15 levels, and it might even have some secret stages I haven't unlocked yet.

Panel view looks nice, I was not aware of that. Just grabbed Split Browser for Firefox too. Interesting I learned new things about two of the browsers that I do use here...

Cruz (http://cruzapp.com) has a plugin called 'Browser Browser' that blows the doors off both of these. But it's Mac 10.5 only. Dual View looks nice though because it allows the windows to be resized. Might be wrong, but I don't think Split Browser can do that.

Beating a dead horse I know, but oh hi it's Opera again, your long lost cousin who's had this feature forever and it's built-in.

Not quite, Browser Browser for Cruz is still the only intelligent implementation of this concept I have seen.
