Super Obama World - Election Day Time Waster

If you loved the old Super Mario World, and you like Barack Obama, you'll love Super Obama World. It's exactly what it sounds like: an old-school style hop n' bop game, where you play as a Senator from the state of Illinois. Instead of little mushrooms with fangs, you bounce on pigs (maybe they're supposed to be pigs with lipstick?). Instead of Mario's coins, there are little American flags.

Currently, you can play an ice level with a very interesting boss (hint: she can see Russia from her house). More levels are planned after the election, "including Arizona, Illinois, and D.C. levels. Just because the campaign is over doesn't mean the excitement has to be!" Whoever you plan to vote for, or regardless of whether you're even eligible to vote, this is a fun little platformer.

Stop whining, he won. You posted nothing to backup your arguments, either, and having big ears is not enough to make a bad President. Have fun following other people's footsteps the rest of your life like you obviously did in the Presidential election having nothing to back up your opinions. Someone else calls him socialist so you do, too.

I didn't post any of my reasons for not liking Obama because I didn't want to turn this into a place to argue about politics. But since you apparently want to argue, I will argue back.

Your entitled to your opinions as I am to mine. If you don't like my opinions then ignore them. I don't care what you think, as you should not care about what I think. That is what makes them opinions

1. I wasn't saying that I he isn't going to make a bad president because of his ears. I was just having a little fun. I can have fun can't I?

2. I think you have something backwards there. If I didn't support him, doesn't that mean I don't follow the crowd. Doesn't that mean I have my own opinion, and I choose to follow what I believe, not the hype?

3. I called him a socialist way before anyone else did. I saw him for what he is and what he wants to do. Taxing the wealthy to give to the poor (AKA Spend on whatever they want) is a socialist idea. Many of his ideas are socialist. We are not a socialist county and socialism will not solve our problems. (These problems have been made by both parties.)

Stop and think before speaking. It is just like Democrats to speak whatever is on their mind without thinking.

Let's just hope that Congress and their little friend in the head position don't ruin this county. We have lost what makes this county great for at least the next two years. Republicans, essentially, don't have a say now in politics. Whatever the democratic congress wants will be passed without enough question to stop anything. Some of the worst laws in history will come out of this. I am not saying that if Republicans were in control now everything would be just peachy. Balance is needed in Congress and in the White House. Balance helped make this county what it is today.

Great idea, poorly executed. There's about a 4 pixel buffer around each of the sprites that counts as a collision, making this game all but impossible to play.

The irony is, I would expect a game about Obama to be more tolerant.

Featured Time Waster

Civiballs is a beautiful, soothing physics puzzle Time Waster

I have an absolute weakness for physics games, and while Civiballs isn't the strongest physics-based game, what it lacks in the physics department it makes up for a few times over in style and fun.

In Civiballs, you are presented with a few colored balls, and your goal is to get those balls into the same-colored urn on the level. The "civi" part of Civiballs is that there are 3 sets of levels to play, each representing a different civilization. While the civilization doesn't affect gameplay, the artwork for each level is beautifully themed to it's appropriate era.

To play the game, you are given only one tool - a sword with which to cut the chains that are holding the balls. The puzzle part of the game is in figuring out what order, and with what timing to cut each chain. Do it right, and all the right balls end up in the right urns, with no stray balls entering an urn (a no-no). Do it wrong, and you get to start over again.

Civiballs is not terribly deep on gameplay; the entire game can be completed in about 15 minutes. But if you enjoy this type of game, it will be a very enjoyable 15 minutes.
